MVS TSO Tab

This tab displays if you click the MVS tab on the CA-Top Secret account template or CA-Top Secret Acid property sheet. Seven additional MVS tabs allow you to specify other MVS information. This tab specifies TSO-specific restrictions and authorizations for the acid.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Procedure

Specifies a default TSO logon procedure. This field is equivalent to the TSOLPROC TSS command keyword.

To designate a default TSO logon procedure for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority. This parameter can only be specified for an acid type of USER. It cannot be specified for a profile or for the All Record.

Region Size

Specifies a default region size (in kilobytes) for TSO. This field is equivalent to the TSOLSIZE TSS command keyword. In order to designate a default TSO region size for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Max Region

Specifies the maximum region size in kilobytes that may be specified by the acid when logging on to TSO. This field is equivalent to the TSOMSIZE TSS command keyword. To designate a maximum TSO region size for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Perf Group

Specifies a default TSO performance group for the acid. This field is equivalent to the TSODEFPRFG TSS command keyword. The addition of a default performance group will not automatically give an acid use of a performance group protected by TSOPRFG. If the performance group is protected by TSOPRFG, the acid must also be PERMITed to use TSOPRFG.

To designate a default TSO performance group for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Mail

Specifies that the acid will be allowed to receive messages sent through TSO from another acid.

This field is equivalent to the TSOOPT(MAIL) command keyword. To designate a TSOOPTS attribute for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Notices

Specifies that the acid is authorized to receive system-wide messages sent through TSO. This field is equivalent to the TSOOPTS(NOTICES) TSS command keyword. To designate a TSOOPTS attribute for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

OIDCard

Specifies the acid of the identification card that will be inserted into a badge reader when signing onto TSO. This field is equivalent to the TSOOPT(OIDCARD) command. To designate a TSOOPTS attribute for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Hold

Provides a default hold class for the acid's TSO-generated JCL. This field is equivalent to the TSOHCLASS TSS command keyword. To designate a default hold class for TSO JCL generated by another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Job

Provides a default job class for the acid's TSO generated job cards. This field is equivalent to the TSOJCLASS TSS command keyword. To designate a default TSO class for another acid's TSO generate job cards, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Msg

Assigns a default message class for the acid's TSO-generated JCL. This field is equivalent to the TSOMCLASS TSS command keyword. To designate a default message class for another acid's TSO-generated JCL, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Sysout

Assigns a default SYSOUT class for TSO generated JCL for the acid. This field is equivalent to the TSOSCLASS TSS command keyword. To designate default TSO SYSOUT classes for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Output Destination

Provides a default destination identifier for the acid's TSO generated JCL.

This field is equivalent to the TSODEST TSS command keyword. To designate a default destination for TSO output generated by another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Allocation Unit

Assigns a default unit name to be used for dynamic allocations performed by the acid under TSO. This field is equivalent to the TSOUNIT TSS command keyword. To designate a default unit for dynamic allocations performed under TSO by another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

User Data

Assigns site-defined data fields to a TSO acid. These fields can range from 1-4 hex characters (0-9,A-F) in length.

This field is equivalent to the TSOUDATA TSS command keyword. To designate TSO data field for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Account

Provides a default account number that the acid can specify for TSO logons. If the account number includes a comma (,) you must enclose the information within single quotes (i.e.,'12345,abc'). If you do not use the single quotes, the comma will be interpreted as a delimiter set between two separate accounts. This will result in an error since only one account number can be added to each acid.

This field is equivalent to the TSOLACCT TSS command keyword. To designate a default TSO account number for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

TSO Command

Provides a default command to be issued by the acid at TSO logon time. This field is equivalent to the TSOCOMMAND command keyword.

The addition of a default command will not automatically give an acid use of a command protected by the PROGRAM. If the default command is protected by PROGRAM or LCF, the acid must also be PERMITed to use the PROGRAM.

To designate a maximum TSO region size for another acid, the administrator must have MISC2(TSO) authority.

Multiple UADS Passwords

Specifies that the acid can have multiple UADS passwords. This privilege cannot be added to a Profile or to the ALL record.
