Account Tab

Use this tab to specify account record information, such as department, division, zone, type, and time zone.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Account ID

Provides the accessor ID of the user. You must supply explicit data in this field. CA-Top Secret does not accept wildcards or generics.

You can use the %AC% rule string to generate the acid from the global user's account ID.

Rule String: %AC%

Using Account ID

Specifies the acid that you want to use as a model when creating new acids. Specify only those fields that differ from the model for the new acid.

User Name

Provides the name of the user whose acid is being created or modified. This is the name that appears in CA IdentityMinder. You can use the %UN% rule string to generate the user's full name from the global user's full name name.

Rule String: %UN%

This is a required field.

Department

Specifies the name of the department to which the acid belongs. You can use the %UDEPT% rule string to generate the department from the global user's department.

Rule String: %UDEPT%

Size/Type: 1-8 characters

Division

Specifies the name of the division to which the department in the Department field belongs.

Size/Type: 1-8 characters

Zone

Specifies the name of the zone to which the acid belongs.

Size/Type: 1-8 characters

Type

Specifies the acid type. Valid values include: Department, Division, Zone, User, profile, DCA, VCA, ZCA, LSCA, and SCA.

Instdata

Provides up to 60 characters of additional space that you can use to add information about the acid.

Time Zone

Specifies the relationship between the time zone of the acid and the time zone of the system.

For example, if John Smith works in Los Angeles and the system is in New York, a value of -3 should be entered for the time zone. Valid values range from +12 to -12.

Password

Specifies the password of the user who owns the account.

Rule String: %P%

This is a required field.

Confirm Password

Confirms the user password.

This is a required field.

Password Interval

Specifies the number of days until the password expires.

Admin Suspended

If checked, indicates to suspend the acid's administrator security id.

Suspended Until

If checked, indicates that the acid's security id has been suspended. Click the Calendar to select a date.

Expiration Date

Specifies the date on which the acid expires. If entered, Expiration date must be after the current date and the Effective date. Click the Calendar to select a date.
