Endpoint Tab

Use this tab to specify basic endpoint information such as the default account template that will be associated with the endpoint.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Endpoint Name

Specifies the name of the MS SQL Server to manage.

This is a required field.

Description

Specifies a description of the MS SQL Server endpoint. You can change this field after the endpoint has been registered.

JDBC URL

Specifies the JDBC URL.

This is a required field.

NT Domain

Specifies which domain the login belongs to.

SQL Server

Specifies the SQL Server that hosts the endpoint.

Trusted Connection

Specifies the authentication type used to connect to your MS SQL Server.

If checked, NT Authentication is used and no Admin login and password are needed.

If unchecked, SQL Authentication is used and an Admin login and password must be entered.

Manager

Specifies the name of the MS SQL user that is used for authentication.

This is a required field.

Password

Specifies the password of the user that is used for authentication.

This is a required field.

Confirm Password

Specifies the password of the user that was just entered.

Default Account Template

Specifies the default account template of the endpoint. The default account template is used to create new accounts on the endpoint. Click the browse button to search and add account templates.
