Exchange Advanced Tab (User)

Use this tab to display the Protocol Settings, and Mailbox Rights of an Exchange account.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Protocol Settings

Specifies the protocols that are available to access this mailbox.

Add

Lets you specify and enable the protocol type. You can choose from the following protocol types:

Mailbox Rights

Lets you specify the mailbox rights for an account or a group.

Full Access

Lets you specify that the user or group has full access permissions to the mailbox, that is, they can log on to the mailbox and access the contents of the entire mailbox.

Send As Permission

Lets you specify that the user or group has send-As permissions to the mailbox, that is, they can send e-mail messages as that mailbox user.

Add

Lets you add users and groups from another Forest that you want to add mailbox rights to.

Note: When search for accounts you want to add to the Full Access or Send-As lists, CA IdentityMinder displays a list of all searchable accounts by default. However, if you select a user or group that is not Exchange-enabled, CA IdentityMinder ignores the request. In addition, you can only add mail-enabled security groups.

Note: For Full Access and Send As Permissions, the initial list contains both accounts and groups. You can add accounts directly to these lists. Use the Groups Add button to add groups.
